When we started farming Black Soldier Flies, we found that egg collection can be a bit annoying, there was not an efficient way of collecting eggs out there. So we developed a system to easily collect eggs that is efficient and aesthetically pleasing.
Wanting a standalone solution for egg collection, we created the Coop. A system consisting of an external housing that contains a series of hanging egg traps that contain eighteen slats for Black Soldier Flies to lay eggs on. The slats swing out for easy egg collection.
